This 7 day immersion program is designed for schools looking to make a difference in the indigenous community. Students will be introduced to the stunning landscape of central Australia and develop their understanding and appreciation of our unique indigenous people and their relationship to the land.
Another highlight is the opportunity to form relationships with the Lilla and Ulpinyali children at the local Watarrka Aboriginal School through classroom interaction and sporting activities.
This tour is suitable for secondary school students. Participants will increase their understanding of team work and leadership, improve cultural awareness and gain a greater understanding of nature.
Itinerary
We can reverse this around if required, i.e. start at Alice Springs for the first night and finish with two nights at the Yulara.
We can also add a day trip along the Western MacDonnell Ranges by either adding another night’s camping at the Earth Sanctuary to make the trip 8 days, or only doing two nights at Lilla in lieu of anther night in Alice.
