The Concept

STEM workshops at Berlin’s top Universities. Workshops are hands on, conducted by PHD students and range from genetics to android apps to aeronautics and space

The School Labs are learning centres designed to introduce high school students to current research projects from the fields of genetics, robotics, coding, aeronautics, space, transportation and energy and develop student interest and engagement with the fascination of research. More than 25,000 students participate in these workshops each year at the various universities in Berlin.

This 12-day program is designed to incorporate a series of one-day visits incorporating STEM workshops supplemented by tours and lectures. All workshops are supported by University Science staff and research assistants for small group engagement and can be designed for both junior and senior levels
