DAY 1: AUSTRALIA - NICE

Fly from Australia to Nice.

DAY 2: ARRIVE IN NICE - MONACO (D)

On arrival at Nice airport, transfer to the Center Mediterraneen D’etudes Francaise (CMEF) located in Monaco. Here you will spend the next 5 nights and participate in your language program.

Enjoy a Welcome Reception in the CMEF Amphitheatre. Tonight enjoy a Soirée de bienvenue / Crêpes et musique.

DAY 3: CMEF MONACO (BLD)

After breakfast begin your CMEF Language Classes for the morning. Time for lunch and then walk to Cap d’Aïl, le chemin des douaniers, la plage Mala. Return to your accommodation. After dinner test your knowledge in an evening Music Quiz.

DAY 4: CMEF MONACO (BLD)

After breakfast continue with your CMEF Language Classes for the morning. Time for lunch and then spend the afternoon in Monaco. Return to your accommodation. After dinner enjoy an evening of singing and dancing competitions with Karaoke and Just Dance.

DAY 5: CMEF MONACO (BLD)

After breakfast continue with your CMEF Language Classes for the morning. Time for lunch and then you have a free afternoon (Options: Tête de Chien, Sentier Littoral Walk or time to do some laundry). After dinner enjoy an evening of Gaufres et disco.

DAY 6: CMEF MONACO  (BLD)

Its your final day at CMEF. After breakfast continue with your Language Classes and take part in the Presentation of Certificates. Time for lunch then enjoy an excursion to Èze to visit a perfume factory, followed by a visit to Menton. Return to your accommodation. After dinner end your CMEF experience with a Jean Cocteau Art Class.

DAY 7: MONACO – LYON (BD)

This morning it is Au Revoir to your teachers at Center Mediterraneen D’etudes Francaise. After breakfast travel by coach to Nice train station for your train journey to Lyon. On arrival check into accommodation and have dinner.

DAY 8: LYON - PARIS (BD)

Following breakfast, travel to Paris. Check in to your accommodation and then the remainder of the day is free for teacher guided sightseeing, introducing students to the major landmarks of this magnificent city. Take a look at the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral (no entrances included). Return to your accommodation for dinner.

DAY 9: PARIS (BD)

Today after breakfast continue your Paris adventure. Under the direction of the teacher, visit Montmartre & Sacre Coeur, enjoying a lunch break (own expense). Enjoy a guided Walking Tour of Paris before returning to your accommodation for dinner. Tonight enjoy and evening of teacher guided activities.

DAY 10: PARIS - VERSAILLES - PARIS (BD)

After breakfast, travel by coach to Chateau de Versailles, one of the finest achievements of Louis XIV’s reign. After a visit to the palace, stop at Giverny to visit Monet’s House & Gardens before you are transferred back to your accommodation. This evening take the metro to the Trocadéro and walk to the Eiffel Tower (tickets not included – schools to purchase online via dedicated schools group official website).

DAY 11: PARIS (BD)

Today is under the guidance of teachers: visit the Louvre (entrance included), walk to Champs-Elysées (via Tuileries & Concorde) for lunch (own arrangements), climb to the top of the Arc de Triomphe and visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, browse through the Galeries Lafayette (via Opéra) for a spot of shopping, see Sainte Chapelle, Conciergerie, and the Notre Dame (outside view). Return to your accommodation for dinner.

DAY 12: PARIS - EURO DISNEY - PARIS (B)

After breakfast take the train to Euro Disney. Spend the day under the guidance of teachers. Return to Paris. Dinner at own arrangements.

DAY 13: PARIS - AUSTRALIA (B)

After breakfast, check out and transfer by coach to the airport for your return flight home.

DAY 14: ARRIVE IN AUSTRALIA

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Tickets to climb the Eiffel Tower, and reservations and guided tours of the Louvre and Versailles Palace become available to purchase 3 months in advance. These reservations and tickets sell out incredibly quickly and are therefore subject to availability. If you would like any of these arrangements to be made, it is essential that you have chosen your preferred date and time to visit these monuments at least 3 months in advance and that you have communicated this to your tour consultant.
