DAY 1 AUSTRALIA – LOS ANGELES

Check in for your flight to Los Angeles, California. After exiting customs at LAX Airport, you will be met and shown to your coach. Enjoy a five hour guided coach tour of LA’s famous sites, including movie star homes. This afternoon, check in to your accommodation in Anaheim, walking distance from Disneyland resort.

DAY 2 ANAHEIM (B)

After breakfast, take the shuttle bus to the Disneyland Resort and start using your two-day Park Hopper Ticket. Today, you will also take part in a Disney Youth Performing Arts Education Program. Choose from a wide range of drama, dance, musical theatre or costume workshops. You even have the option of performing as a group at Disneyland!

DAY 3 ANAHEIM (B)

After breakfast, take the shuttle bus to the Disneyland Resort and continue using your Park Hopper Ticket to explore either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure Park. Once again, you will have the unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience, participating in a Disney Performing Arts workshop, under the guidance of entertainment professionals.

DAY 4 ANAHEIM – LOS ANGELES (B)

Check out of your accommodation after breakfast. You will transfer by coach to your Los Angeles accommodation, to check in and leave your luggage. This afternoon, travel to Hollywood and take part in a Hollywood Behind-the-Scenes walking tour, with Redline Tours. You will visit movie locations, legendary movie palaces, view the Hollywood sign, see the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and visit celebrities’ favourite hidden hideaways. There is also the option of performing in the Grand Central Market this afternoon. After your walking tour, visit the GRAMMY Museum to learn how music impacts many aspects of society. You will be encouraged to use music as a gateway to learning and to inspire your creativity and critical thinking, as you experience the museum’s interactive exhibits, films and artefacts.

DAY 5 LOS ANGELES (B)

Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation, before taking part in a Performing Arts workshop. Dancers have the chance to attend the Millennium Dance Complex and take part in a private class in either jazz, ballet, contemporary or hip hop. Drama students can attend the Actors Comedy Studio and participate in a private workshop to develop their comedic skills. This afternoon, enjoy a studio tour at Warner Brother Studios. View sets from shows and movies such as Friends and Harry Potter.

DAY 6 LOS ANGELES (B)

After breakfast this morning, take part in another Performing Arts workshop. Today, dancers will be given the opportunity to attend the Edge Performing Arts Centre and participate in a private class in either jazz, ballet, contemporary or hip hop. Drama students can attend the Stella Adler Acting Academy and take part in a private workshop to develop their acting skills. Enjoy free time this afternoon.

DAY 7 LOS ANGELES (B)

After breakfast, you will spend the day at Universal Studios. You will take part in an educational Special Effects Tech Tour, where some of the technical secrets of Hollywood will be revealed. Working industry professionals will show you the technology behind many popular movies, including green screen effects, stop motion photography and digital imagery. You will also have the opportunity to perform at Universal Studios.

DAY 8 LOS ANGELES – AUSTRALIA (B)

Check out of your accommodation after breakfast. Today you will have full day access to a coach, enabling you to take part in your own activities. Options include spending an afternoon at Santa Monica Pier, or shopping at a local mall. This evening, transfer by coach to LAX Airport and check in for your flight to Australia.
