learning through visiting contemporary art spaces and experiencing art culture.
Check in for your flight to Hobart this morning. On arrival, transfer to your accommodation and check in. Take a self-guided walking tour of Salamanca Place, visiting the Salamanca Art Gallery, as well as taking in the sights at Constitution Dock and Battery Point. Dinner is included this evening.
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation this morning. Today you will visit the renowned Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), the largest privately funded museum in Australia. This hugely popular museum displays an eclectic collection of antiquities, modern and contemporary art from the David Walsh collection. (Free entry for students). After lunch, which is included today, you will have the opportunity to explore the Contemporary Art Spaces of Tasmania Gallery (self-guided). Dinner is included this evening.
Check out of your accommodation after breakfast this morning, then visit one of Hobart’s many art spaces for an art class or an artist’s talk. Lunch is included today. Travel to the airport by coach this afternoon, and check in for your flight home.
