Wow, what a year! Can you believe it’s already the end of Term 4.
This year, we sent just over 5,000 students on educational adventures across the globe, attended conferences across Australia, and connected with teachers to share the life-changing experiences we create for students.
The impact of our travel programs is incredible. Whether students travel to Canberra to see Parliament House, or experience Japan for the first time with friends, these moments are priceless. Seeing photos of students’ smiling faces on trips we’ve made possible is one of the highlights for our team.
If you’ve travelled with us this year, or are planning to in the future, THANK YOU for choosing G.E.T Educational Tours. Every team member contributes to bringing your travel program to life, and we’re passionate about it.
Our most popular destinations this year were Canberra and Japan.
It’s no surprise that Canberra was our most travelled domestic destination. With so many learning opportunities for students, and the PACER rebate making travel more affordable, it’s the perfect destination for school groups. Students come away with contextual learning that deepens their understanding of classroom lessons, a key takeaway from any Canberra trip.
For international adventures, Japan was the most popular tour destination for 2025. Students (and teachers!) enjoy endless opportunities to learn, have fun and explore. Students also get to immerse themselves in new cultures and discover new places that are completely different from what they encounter at home.

As we say goodbye to 2025, we're already looking ahead with excitement. Next year promises even more living-lessons for students. So what destinations are trending for 2026? So far, Canberra and France are the crowd favourites. Here's to seeing what the new year brings!
