DAY 1: AUSTRALIA - TOKYO

Depart Australia for Japan. On your arrival in Tokyo you will meet your Tour Escort to transfer by private coach to your accommodation. After checking in, the remainder of the day is under the guidance of your teachers.

DAY 2: TOKYO (B)

After breakfast enjoy a guided tour of the historical part of Tokyo including Asakusa, the Sumida area with Japan’s tallest structure, Tokyo Skytree, and the Edo Tokyo Museum.

DAY 3: TOKYO (B)

After breakfast visit the Meiji Shrine, finding serenity in the middle of the city adjacent to the youth mecca “Takeshita Street” in Harajuku. Then its time for cultural and musical exchanges and your first performance opportunity.

DAY 4: TOKYO - HAKONE (BD)

After breakfast travel by coach to Mt Fuji's 5th Station to enjoy scenic views. Transfer to a ryokan resort to relax in the hot springs, have dinner and stay for the night.

DAY 5: HAKONE - SHIZUOKA (BLD)

After breakfast travel to Shizuoka. Enjoy tea-leaf picking and visit a tea roasting/production factory.

DAY 6: SHIZUOKA (BLD)

After breakfast experience a tea ceremony. Then its time to visit a local school or concert venue to join a local band for cultural and musical exchanges and your second performance opportunity.

DAY 7: SHIZUOKA - HAMAMATSU - HIKONE (BL)

After breakfast travel to Hamamatsu, the city of music. Visit the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments and the Yamaha Factory. Then travel by bullet train to Hikone.

DAY 8: HIKONE (B)

After breakfast visit the famous Hikone Castle and the Japanese garden. Then its time for cultural and musical exchanges and your final performance opportunity.

DAY 9: HIKONE - KYOTO (B)

Today after breakfast enjoy a full day guided tour of Kyoto.

DAY 10: KYOTO (B)

Today after breakfast enjoy a full day at Universal Studios Japan.

DAYS 11-12: KYOTO - TOKYO - AUSTRALIA (B)

After breakfast check-out of your accommodation and travel to Shinagawa by bullet train. On arrival in Shinagawa take the subway to the Tokyo Airport for your flight home.
