The Concept

Immerse yourself in Korean culture and language and experience the incredible city of Seoul, from its jungle of skyscrapers to the oasis of Gyeongbok Palace and gardens. This 7-day tour includes sightseeing, language lessons and up-close encounters with locals, including a school visit, lessons in how to make kimchi and a home visit for an evening meal. Tour highlights include a trip to the fascinating Korean Demilitarised Zone, the Third Tunnel, and busy Dongdaemun Market, a haven of traditional and modern produce. On this tour there’s plenty of time for students to explore and experience local food, music, art and shopping.

Secondary school Korean language students will improve their language skills, experience living history, and gain a better understanding of and more respect for other cultures.
