The Concept

Explore stunning Korea and experience an ancient land determined to make its way in the modern world. From K-pop to perfectly preserved 8th century Buddhist temples, this 10-day tour is a delightful introduction to the culture, history and religion of this unique country. Beginning in bustling Seoul, students have the opportunity to explore the fascinating Demilitarised Zone. Other highlights in Seoul include the stunning Gyeongbok Palace. The tour then proceeds to Gyeongju and the UNESCO listed Bulguksa Temple. The final stop is the port town of Busan, where students visit Korea’s most famous beach. During the tour there’s also plenty of time for students to experience local culture and practice language skills.

Secondary school Korean language students will increase their language skills, experience living history, and gain a better understanding of and more respect for other cultures.
