The Concept

Design your own itinerary to Sydney with an Arts, History or Environment theme, or follow our suggested program below. Designed around Australian Curriculum requirements, students will spend 4 nights in school-approved accommodation, and explore the unique history and culture of Australia’s busiest city.

Itinerary Day By Day

DAY 1 SCHOOL – SYDNEY (D)

An early morning departure on your coach to Sydney. Arrive early evening and check in to your accommodation at the Woolbroker’s Hotel (or similar), in Darling Harbour, for four nights.

DAY 2 SYDNEY (B, L)

Start the day with a Captain Cook Harbour Cruise around Sydney Harbour. Next, visit the pylon lookout at Sydney Harbour Bridge, and walk across the footbridge. Transfer by coach to Manly. Explore the Manly area and enjoy fish and chips for dinner (at your own expense). This evening, take part in a ghost tour at the old Quarantine Station - known as one of the most haunted places in Australia.

DAY 3 SYDNEY (B, L, D)

This morning, start with a visit to the Powerhouse Museum which has a variety of exciting permanent and changing exhibitions. Next, visit the famous Madame Tussauds where you can have your photo taken with your favourite celebrities and historical figures. This afternoon you have free time to explore Darling Harbour. (You may decide to include an activity such as a walk around the Watson’s Bay area and The Gap, an Opera House tour, a ferry ride or a visit to Wet ‘n’ Wild.) This evening, visit the Sydney Tower to experience views from 250 metres above the city. You will also experience Skytour, a 3D virtual adventure.

DAY 4 SYDNEY (B, L, D)

You will be taken, by coach, on a Blue Mountains discovery day trip today, including the scenic railway and cable car. When you return this evening, you will have dinner in Chinatown at the Nine Dragons restaurant.

DAY 5 SYDNEY – SCHOOL (B, L)

Up early for your trip home, with arrival early evening.
